Nashville Wedding Photographer | Madison & Hayden

TreeGrab your tissues. For real.

We are pretty excited to have been fortunate enough to capture such a big day in Madison and Hayden’s lives. I can’t say enough about the kindness of these two and how incredible it was to work with them.

On top of an incredibly beautiful and well designed wedding, I can honestly say this wedding was just fun and relaxed. The focus of the day was on the marriage of two incredible people and less about the small things that are easy to get caught up in. At the end of the day, Madison and Hayden were just ready to be married to each other.

Also, a huge thank you goes to Bj Matthews (who is also shooting our wedding next year!) For stepping in and second shooting since Allison had to be in another wedding herself.

Without anymore rambling, here are the highlights from this incredible wedding!

Jacey & Dylan | Black Balsam Knob Engagement Session // So, what's the first thing you do when a couple with two Boston Terriers reaches out to have you shoot their wedding? You do it. Duh. Seriously, our first meeting with them was a puppy play date and dinner at our place. First date goals, right? Jacey and Dylan opted to do an adventure session in the mountains of North Carolina near Black Balsam Knob. Which if you can't tell, is a favorite spot of ours! We had such a wonderful time getting to know these two and getting to talk about life over some amazing tacos along the way! When we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful sunny ...
Best of 2016 | Nashville Wedding Photographer
Best of 2016 / Nashville Wedding Photographer  Dang, what a year 2016 has been. I warn you that this will be a pretty long post so just sit tight and grab some pizza! 2016 was a year or learning. It was a year of figuring out what we really wanted this business to be. It was a year of gaining some of the best friends ever. As most people know, Allison has a job other than photography that she absolutely loves. I had actually moved to Nashville to be with her when she accepted her new job. I was going to film school full time and shooting weddings on the side so I could make ends meet. Fast forward to January 2016. I'm sitting in our parkin ...
Lauren Staub | Just Go Shoot
HOLY MOLY! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE THIS SET OF PHOTOS WITH YOU GUYS! I met Lauren when we were planning a shoot that is coming up in a few weeks. When Nashville got nailed with snow this past week, my first thought, other than making snow ice cream, was to get out and shoot! Making myself get out and shoot is always a wonderful way to spark creativity and try new things as well as experiment. In this case, I focused on variations of different poses and composition to create a totally different photo without changing much at all.  My best advice to any photographer is pretty darn simple. Just go shoot. Whether it's paid or not or the 'perfec ...
