For a lot of those who know us, Joshua Tree holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where we got engaged last December! There are few places that I never pass up a chance to visit and this is definitely one of them!

When I found out I was going to be out in California to attend Heck Yeah Photo Camp, I hit Krista and Will up to see if they’d want to go play in the desert. Krista is an extremely talented photographer and Will is an equally talented Tattoo artist. This dynamic duo of artists are just as kind as they are talented as well. Will is also an expert at getting rental cars out of the sand and I owe him a billion high fives. I’m so stoked to share this session and make it back to Joshua Tree again!

Lauren Staub | Just Go Shoot
HOLY MOLY! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE THIS SET OF PHOTOS WITH YOU GUYS! I met Lauren when we were planning a shoot that is coming up in a few weeks. When Nashville got nailed with snow this past week, my first thought, other than making snow ice cream, was to get out and shoot! Making myself get out and shoot is always a wonderful way to spark creativity and try new things as well as experiment. Just go shoot. Whether it's paid or not or the 'perfec ...

Chelsea & Jeremiah | Chattanooga Wedding Photographer
Chattanooga Wedding Photographer.  When we originally met Chelsea, she was planning her wedding for early spring of this year. As fate so had it, we received a text from Chelsea saying that the wedding was having to be moved to December 27th, 2016 due to scheduling with the military. Which was just a few weeks away. Obviously, we were available and were so excited how the change of plans worked out. Even down to the day of the wedding, the locations for a good bulk of these photos was completely changed. It basically rained the entire morning. Instead of going out to the original venue that was filled with beautiful areas to shoot around, ...

Riverwood Mansion Wedding Photographer | Moody Modern Wedding Inspiration // Back in November, we had the awesome opportunity to work with some incredible vendors on a really unique styled shoot! We wanted something that incorporated color but still played into the dark and moody tones of winter and fall. We also took a unique approach to incorporate various cocktail recipes that played into the colors, tones and seasonality of this shoot! A huge thanks to all of the awesome vendors and models that dedicated their time to capture some rad wedding inspiration! Check out some of our favorites below!
