Janine & Ian | Intimate Bohemian Wedding

Janine & Ian | Intimate Bohemian Wedding  // It’s hard to think of days that are much better than this one. When we initially talked to Janine and Ian, there was no doubt we were excited to be the ones to capture their wedding day! They told us how they wanted their wedding to feel like a dinner party with all of their closest friends and family. And that’s exactly what they did! Janine and Ian had come all the way from New York city to celebrate in Oxford, MS, not far from where Ian grew up! There was so much personality and thoughtfulness put into the design of this wedding as well. Janine and Ian are both really talented artists and had made their own invitations and even the ring bearers pillow, which had their faces on it! They also made their own beautiful invitation suite!

We are so thankful to have been apart of their intimate bohemian wedding! Here are some of our favorite moments from their day!

Matt & Amanda | Craggy Gardens Engagement
Craggy Gardens Engagement// Okay so Asheville, North Carolina rocks and so does Craggy Gardens. Man. This place is freaking magical. Between the out of this world views and extremely unique "craggy trees" as I call them, it's stupid beautiful. Meeting Matt and Amanda was basically the craziest thing ever. We literally had two different friends in the wedding industry tell us we just had to work with these two. As it turned out, we were already Facebook friends and had shared a crazy love for the band, Local Natives as well. I mean, we literally bought tickets to this concert before we ever booked them and were literally 3 feet from each other ...
Lauren Staub | Just Go Shoot
HOLY MOLY! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE THIS SET OF PHOTOS WITH YOU GUYS! I met Lauren when we were planning a shoot that is coming up in a few weeks. When Nashville got nailed with snow this past week, my first thought, other than making snow ice cream, was to get out and shoot! Making myself get out and shoot is always a wonderful way to spark creativity and try new things as well as experiment. In this case, I focused on variations of different poses and composition to create a totally different photo without changing much at all.  My best advice to any photographer is pretty darn simple. Just go shoot. Whether it's paid or not or the 'perfec ...
Nashville Photographer | Devynne Diaz II | Big announcement!
BOOM. Now that I have your attention, here are some photos from a recent shoot I did with with Devynne Diaz from Sculp Agency.  Shooting indoors isn't something that I do a lot of so getting out of my comfort zone was totally worth it and has totally opened some new ideas for some upcoming engagement shoots. I'll give you a hint, they all include some rad Airbnbs. Also, we have some big news to share with everyone! We have officially launched Forest + Falls Workshop! We will be co-hosting with B. Matthews Creative to bring one of largest photo camps to the southern region! In addition to this, we will also be speaking at the workshop ...
