Man oh man. I am a sucker for sessions like these. When Erica & Britton reached out and mentioned they wanted to have some anniversary photos done out in the mountains of North Carolina, I was floored! This area holds such a special place in my heart and it was incredible to accompany them on their experience of celebrating their anniversary. Our first day was spent on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Looking Glass Falls and Black Balsam Knob. They rented a cabin overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains where we spent the second day waking up with their morning ritual of making coffee and just relaxing, usually with their crew of doggies who couldn’t make this trip. Later that day, they made a huge spread of goodies and celebrated with a bottle of wine a family member had gifted them. Above everything, it was so refreshing to document the experience these two created for themselves. Here’s the story of our weekend together!
