Maybe a traditional wedding isn't for you...

What is an elopement?

If the traditional wedding isn't resonating with you, don't worry. You're not alone in that. Some people simply wish for the focus to be on just celebrating their relationship rather than throwing a production or party.

And guess what! That's okay! Actually, it's more than okay. It's perfect!

Because this may be the path that resonates most with you both and we're here to support and guide you both in planning an epic celebration of your love.

We consider an elopement to be the choice of having an intimate and intentional experience that is fully authentic to you. This is essentially your unconventional wedding day where you can literally do whatever you want, whenever you want, with whomever you want.

Your circle of people is fairly small, tight knit and you don't see yourself wanting more than 25 guests.

You don't love being the center of attention and having an "audience."

You have a love for the outdoors and want nature to be your backdrop.

You believe your wedding is more about your intimacy and less about throwing a celebration for your guests.

You want images that are just as epic as your love.

You'd rather skip the wedding planning.

"How do we know if an elopement is for us? "

We definitely aren't here to convince you to elope. In fact, we believe that your wedding day should be exactly what you want it to be. However, here are a few qualifying quirks that might make eloping the right fit for you.

"This sounds like it would be so "us!" So, how does this work?"

We believe you deserve an experience that allows you to be completely in your element. Because of this, we consider ourselves more than just photographers and assume the role of co-creating an experience with you both so that you can have a day that looks and feels authentic to you.

One of the first things we'll do is hop into a phone call and dive right into your story as well as create a vision for the day you're looking to have. If you elope, you'll spend a lot of one on one time (or rather, two on two!) with your photographer. We believe that by creating a relationship with you both first and foremost, we create the foundation for you to be wildly comfortable in front of the camera. This is going to give you images that truly capture YOU!

Yes. You read that right! We're going to help you with everything from planning your elopement day timeline, permits, securing vendors, travel, location scouting and much more! We're here to guide you through this process so that you can move through this season with ease! We'll always be a text, call or email away.

Do it your way.

...and through this process, we'll build a relationship.

From the moment we meet, our biggest intention is simply within creating a relationship with you both. That involves diving into your story and what makes you both unique. It's having a group text message where you can ask for help at any time or hop into a quick phone call to talk through any obstacles you're both facing, tangibly and intangibly. It's in the meaningful conversations we share about what this season of life that you're transitioning through. This creates the foundation for you both to open up in front of the camera. We've found in the last six years of photographing couples that the experience we have together as well as the images we create are deeply influenced by the relationship we create. And beyond that, we believe that in order to support you, it's wildly valuable that we also know you.

We eloped...and had a traditional wedding.

We had our cake and ate it too. Literally.

We believe life is about growth, self discovery and experiences. If there's one thing we've learned over the past few years, it's that when we make the decision to do things that are in alignment with who we truly are regardless of what others think, we end up living our best lives. It took several years of us trying to live up to the expectations of other people before we finally we realized there was another way. Our decision to elope in Iceland prior to our traditional wedding in Nashville was one of the most empowering experiences. We learned that life can look however we want it to so long as it felt right for us.
